The Craft Shack is full of Handmade Crafts, Original Paintings, Local Photography, Framed Prints and a small variety of Homewares. Predominantly showcasing Jennifer's Leatherwork & Jason's Landscape Photography, you will also find a collection of items from select Nordegg Artisans.

the Shack's Story
The Craft Shack is nestled deep within the Expanse Cottages property, where we have year-round private cabin rentals for Guests to enjoy the Peace & Quiet of the Forest.
This unique building was designed & built with Salvaged Materials, Wildfire Trees and Trees that were harvested & milled on-site in 2021. It was completed with the support and extensive help from the Expanse Team; thank you Jason, Jodi, Rick, Kim, Haylee & Kenzie and the many other helping hands who pitched in!
Originally created as a Gift Shop, the Shack is now open to the public between 10am and 6pm. Please respect our Guests privacy, do not block the roadways and be sure to park in the designated Visitor Parking area when you come.
